Kamas Valley on Memorial Day 2012

It couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for a ride.

The only bad part about riding in the Kamas valley is the 45 minutes to an hour you need to spend on I-15 to get there. Once you’re off the highway, it’s a beautiful ride through a high mountain valley. A couple of weeks ago I shared some of the history of the area, today I thought I’d share a video that should give you a taste of what it’s like riding through the area.

Once the passes are open, there is beautiful riding up over the Mirror Lake Highway and Wolf Creek Pass. Until, then we’ve got to be content with the quiet ride through Kamas (sometimes we need to make compromises, right?). I hope you enjoy the video.
